About the book

For the in-between

Beautifully Confusing is the debut poetry collection from Yael Frai, written over two years while she built a career in technology and venture capital.

It began as a private outlet: an honest attempt to process ambition, identity, heartbreak, and the quiet act of becoming. Some poems are deeply personal. Others are fictionalized, overheard, or imagined. All of them reflect the emotional truth of someone learning to live honestly.

It's for readers in transition, whether you're letting go, beginning again, or simply learning to be. It asks you to sit with uncertainty, embrace your contradictions, and find beauty in discomfort.

To live is to remember: even confusion can be beautiful.
